Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
FreeG1 (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It is written to follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
- Your email address, when you create a free account to check answers, take mock tests, or save progress.
- Your account details if you sign in with Google (your name and email, as provided by Google).
- Your study progress — which questions you have answered and your results — so we can save it for you.
- Basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used, to improve it. We do not build advertising profiles.
How we use it
- To provide the service — your account, progress and results.
- To improve the lessons, questions and features.
- To send you service messages, and — only if you opt in — occasional study tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers that run our hosting, sign-in and email, and only as needed to operate FreeG1.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your progress. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Your choices
- You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and data, at any time.
- You can withdraw email consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Children
FreeG1 is intended for people old enough to study for an Ontario licence. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age required to hold a G1.
